Patrons of the Norwich Food and Drink Festival

I am both honoured and privileged to be a patron once again for the Norfolk Food & Drink Festival. Norfolk is blessed with great farming land and exceptional wet fish with its miles and miles of fabulous coastline. It’s so easy and an enormous pleasure to be working and living in such a marvelous county. When you know that the produce we can source is of the best quality it makes sense to use what’s in your own backyard.

I’m pleased to pledge my support to the Norfolk Food & Drink Festival. It was a huge success in 2019 and I’m sure 2020 will be even better. Norfolk has a fantastic array of local food and drink and it’s great to have an event that celebrates this. I’m proud to be involved to help raise awareness of Norfolk as a food destination.

I am really pleased to be involved as a patron of the Norfolk Food & Drink Festival. This is my 36th year cooking; I started at the Imperial Hotel in Great Yarmouth in 1977 and, although I have worked out of the county at times, my career has predominantly been here in Norfolk and I have been a supporter of food and drink in the county throughout that time. I am really honoured to be a patron, we are planning to put on a lot of events and as a patron I want to be actively involved and do as much as I can.

It is a great privilege to be asked to be a patron of the Norfolk Food & Drink Festival as the aims of it are essentially a key business driver for my own business – Strattons Hotel & CoCoes Deli. Put simply – the Festival aims to recognise and celebrate all that is special to the location that we operate in – from people to products to landscape which all combine to create the fabulous and unique visitor experience. So let’s celebrate the very best of Norfolk and champion this amazing food county!
